About our company

At Pewter Partnership, we are family-run registered chartered building surveyors in East Anglia. We offer dependable property surveys to customers in Essex and the surrounding counties. We survey all types of properties, but our specialism lies in period properties, equestrian properties and large country homes.

Founded by the late Norman Pewter FRICS in 1980, Pewter Partnership is currently run by senior partner William, Norman's youngest son. We have an established team of experienced building surveyors,  headed up by William Pewter MRICS. The whole practice holds more than 90 years of experience. Our head office is located at the 15th century farmhouse at Great Lodge Farm, which spans 40 acres of land.

Covering Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, as well as parts of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Norfolk.  We can arrange trusted surveyors to carry out appointments throughout the UK.
